Dr. Rafath Baig was raised in Chicago, Illinois in a family that valued hard work, integrity, and compassion. This background has shaped his approach as a skilled spine surgeon with a compassionate bedside manner. Patients often come to him struggling with chronic pain and relying on pain medication, but Dr. Baig is dedicated to using his surgical expertise to relieve their pain and free them from dependency.

Dr. Baig earned his Bachelor’s in Biological Sciences from Loyola University Chicago and his MD from Southern Illinois University School of Medicine. He completed his residency in Orthopaedic Surgery at Kingsbrook Jewish Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY and St. Vincent’s Hospital in Manhattan, NY. He further honed his skills through a fellowship in complex spinal surgery at St. Joseph’s Medical Center in Phoenix, AZ.
